Cleo Carpenter

December 2, 1934 — February 1, 2017

Cleo Mae Carpenter, age 82 of Woodlawn, passed away on February 1, 2017 at her home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
Cleo was born on December 2, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert Isheim and Claudine Margaret Klaus. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Joseph Carpenter; daughter, Karen Anderson; grandson, Chance Smith; and brother, Albert Isheim Jr.
She loved cooking, baking and sewing.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Carpenter and wife Sue of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Sarah Shepherd and Kathy Elaine Carpenter Smith and husband Billy both of Woodlawn, TN; sister, Donna Brewer of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Billy Joe Smith, Brandon Rives, Elaina Smith, Jeff Smith, Anthony Bell, Darlene Anderson, Brandon Carpenter, and Samantha Vondra; 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ray Vance, Anthony Bell, Billy Joe Smith, Brandon Rives, Wes Austin, and Jeff Smith.
