Clarence “Sonny” O. Kinney, age 74 of Clarksville, passed away on September 11, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date in Washington State.
Clarence was born on March 28, 1940 in Carnersville, Indiana, the son of George O. Kinney and Marcia Estes Kinney Davis. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a construction superintendent, a Baptist, and a member of the Clarksville Senior Citizen Center.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Powers Kinney; daughter, Lisa (Shawn) Edwardson; Stepsons, Thomas E. Lake and Steve F. (Heather) Lake; stepdaughter, Linda (Phil) Bye; 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clarksville Senior Citizen Center at 953 Clark Street Clarksville, TN 37040.
