Clara Rye

Mrs. Clara Lee Rye, age 82 of Erin, TN, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Nashville, TN.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 P.M, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Erin Church of God of Prophecy with Pastors Charles Thornburg and Richard Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Beechum Cemetery.
The Rye family will receive friends Tuesday at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon at the church.
Clara entered this life on April 12, 1938 in Erin, TN, daughter to the late John and Dollie Mae Beechum. After joining the church on April 15, 1951, Clara became a faithful member of the Erin Church of God of Prophecy for over 64 years. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Rye, and brother in law, Bruce McClain.
Survivors include her loving son, David Rye; brother, John Beechum; sister, Peggie McClain, and special friends, Willard Moore and Mary Douglas. Clara also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Brooks, Sammy Hall, Tony Rowlson, Ray Bradley, Stan Bellar and Caleb Hall.
