Clara Irene Foreman Peck, age 96 of Clarksville, TN passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Van Dyke officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Clara entered this life on February 27, 1926 in Lincoln, NE to the late Charles and Mary Ann Faulkner Foreman. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville, NARF, Audubon Society, and Queen City Doll Club; Clarksville Business and Professional Womens Club; and a master gardner. She was retired from The US Government, where she worked as a management analyst for over 30 years. In her spare time, Clara enjoyed art and restoration of dolls, collectibles, and birding.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Edwin Peck; daughter, Sharon Peck Oechsel; grandson, Scott Farley, and great grandson Cross Farley.
Survivors include her children, Marilyn Farley (Larry), Mary Terry (Steve), Michael Peck (Patty); grandchildren, Michelle (Brian) McGinnis, Bruce (Heidi) Oechsel, Lisa Miller, Kathy Oechsel, Leslie (Steve) Bennett, Lexi Terry, Jason Peck, and Mary Catherine Peck; eighteen greatgrandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Clarksville Find US Faithful Fund or All Nations Bible Study Center at 1186 Ft. Campbell Blvd Clarksville, TN 37042.
Pallbearers will be Steve Bennett, Ethan Bennett, Alex Vincent, Bruce Oechsel, Zachary Oechsel, Hunter Oechsel.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Fieldstone staff and caregivers as well as Aseracare Hospice for the loving care provided.
