Clara Mobley

Clara K. Mobley, age 81 of Erin, TN, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at her residence.
A Graveside memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Bro. David Steppee officiating.
Clara entered this life on August 18, 1939 in Erin, TN, daughter to the late Charlie and Thelma Kent. Clara was a lifelong resident of Houston County, TN, and served her community as a Houston County Sheriff’s Department dispatcher where she was responsible for many of the day to day functions in the facility for twenty plus years.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Peltz; siblings, John Edward Kent, James Thomas Kent, Juanita Gray and Mary K. Adams.
Survivors include her loving children, Kristen “Porky” (Lisa) Rye, Jimmy Dean Rye, Earl Ray (Angelita) Rye, Krystal Pulley; siblings, Charlie “Bud” Kent, Glenda Summers, Shirley Gray and Joanne Kellett. Clara also leaves behind seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
