Clara Gower

Clara Morse Payne Gower, age 96 ½, of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Signature Care in Erin while surrounded by several members of her family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Arcadia Senior Living, Clarksville with the Knight family in charge of this celebration.

Another service will be done at a future date to be determined at the U.S. Naval Academy. Clara will be inurned in the Columbarium with her husband, Robert Gower. Her husband was laid to rest in 2002.

She was born June 17, 1927, to Harry Payne and Edna Beardsley.

Survivors include her loving children Bobbi (Harold) Knight, Billi (John) Parus and her precious grandchildren, Shawn and Brooke and various nephews, nieces and their families.
