Clara Melvina Baker, age 71 of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday June 30, 2021 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Bible Baptist Church in Erin. The Baker family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
Clara entered this life on August 23, 1949 in Erin, Tn, daughter to the late Isaac and Delores Laxton . Clara was a faithful member of Hurricane Baptist Church. She enjoyed sports and coaching her son’s little league baseball teams. She loved her dog spencer like a son.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her brothers; Vernon Wyatt, Rabon Wyatt, and Lindon Wyatt, as well as her sister; Naomi “Sissy” Bradley.
Survivors include her loving sons Marty Baker and Isaac Baker, her brother; Adron “Bud” Wyatt, and sisters; Ruth Schoepfiln (Clayton) ,Emma Rae Webb, and Kathy Rippy.
