Cindy Shelton

Cynthia Irene Shelton, lovingly known as Cindy, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held  12 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Cindy entered this life on September 17, 1959, in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Jack Flowers and Shirley Armstrong Wallace. In her younger years, Cindy was adventurous and enjoyed riding motorcycles. She had a loving heart and a kind spirit. After retirement, Cindy became a substitute teacher. She enjoyed working and adored the children that she met. She also loved her pets, and any other animal that she came across. Currently, Cindy was a member of and enjoyed fellowship at 2nd Mile Church.

Survivors include her loving partner, Terry Bowles; son, Charles Shelton and his wife, Erin Shelton, and sisters, Kay Fabin, Trish Hunt, Glenda Blaylock, Theresa Amos, Sherry Shafer, Jackie McKensie, and Shelly Cummings.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
