Charles H. Padgett, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Steve Louder, Jeff Stovall, and Mark Totten officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 9 until the hour of service Saturday at Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Golf Club Lane.
Chuck was born May 16, 1942 in Clinton, Ky. and was preceded in death by his parents Charles A. Padgett and Christine Smith Padgett; wives, Gloria Padgett and Patricia Padgett and sister, Barbara Nell Padgett.
He was a Christian
He is survived by his children, Melissa (Howard) Smith, Scott Padgett, and Heather (Jeremiah) Jernigan; sisters, Ruth Schumacher and Sara Tanner; grandchildren, Evan Smith and Gracie Jernigan.
Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Jernigan, Howard Smith, Evan Smith, David Carrera, Jonathan Carrera, and Tim Page. Honorary Pallbearers will be Junior Workman, WL Smith, James Herring, Ernie Carpenter, Dwight Dickson, Martin Bruner, Dr. Bill Prine, and Ed Larson.
