Chuck Knutson

Charles Wayne (Chuck) Knutson, age 41, gained his victory through Christ on Saturday, January 20, 2024, following a brave battle against cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Clarksville with the Rev. Freddy T. Wyatt officiating. His family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the church. He will be laid to rest at a later date with US Army Honors at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery in Bridgeport, Nebraska.

Chuck entered this life on December 2, 1982, in Bridgeport, Nebraska to parents David L. Knutson and Debbie (Harless) Knutson. As a young man, Chuck entered active duty with the US Army and bravely served his country for 18 years. He was a veteran of the Global War on Terror, Operations Iraqi Freedom, New Dawn, Enduring Freedom, and Inherent Resolve. MSG Knutson was the recipient of numerous awards and citations for his bravery, conduct, and professionalism. He was assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Chuck and his family were members of Real Life Sango.

In addition to his parents, Chuck is survived by his wife, Heather Harlin Knutson; children, Evelyn and Hazel; brother, Neil (Lorelie) Knutson; mother-in-law, Sandra Friberg; and brother-in-law, Brian (Jenna) Harlin.
