SFC (Ret.) Charles Lewis Geiger Jr, age 71, of Clarksville, TN passed away March 3rd, 2022.
Graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday March 8th, 2022 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Full U.S. Army honors.
The Geiger Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home
Chuck entered this life on February 6th, 1951, in Cumberland, Maryland to the late Charles and Betty Geiger. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army. He served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was a proud member of the 101st Airborne. Chuck was active in Boy Scouts of America having served as the liaison at Fort Campbell, Troop leader and a Scout Master. He received a master’s degree in history from APSU and was an educator for CMCSS for 16 years. Chuck enjoyed genealogy, theme parks, civil war writing, and was an avid history buff, but most of all he loved being a grandfather.
Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie Geiger; sons, Chris (Katie) Geiger, Ben Geiger (Lexi Lambert), Walter (Ashley Hutchinson) James. Brothers; Tom (Sue) Geiger, Mike (June) Geiger. Grandchildren; Micah Cioppa, Audrie Chandler-Geiger, Jennifer James, Mary James and one on the way.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation at P.O. Box 2014 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014.
