Christopher Daryl Hatcher “Chris”, 49 of Clarksville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2015.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Amos T. Griffey III and Rev. Frederick Daniels I officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.
Chris, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cousin, was born on January 16. 1966 to Robert Louis Hatcher and Betty Louise Griffey-Hatcher. His mother preceded him in death. He attended the Clarksville-Montgomery School, a graduate of Northeast High School in 1984, and a 1989 graduate of Austin Peay State University.
Christopher accepted Christ as his personal Savior in 1972 at the age of 6 and joined the Edgefield Missionary Baptist Church during the pastoral period of his grandfather, Rev. Amos T. Griffey Sr. Christopher served in the United States Army where he was honorably discharged.
Precious memories will be shared by his loving family, Father, Robert Louis Hatcher; sisters, Jennifer L. Hatcher and Roberta B. (Curtis) Jackson; nieces, Ciara L. Hayes, Khadijah S. Hatcher; nephews, Griffin L. Hatcher, Marquis L. Young, Demontre C. Jackson, and David E. Jackson; uncle, Frank H. Hatcher; aunts, Birdie M. Hatcher and Emma Young; a devoted cousin, Micheal L. West; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
