Christopher Sullivan Bric, 55, of Palmyra, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at First Canaan Baptist Church, Palmyra, with the Rev. Richard Stafford and Dr. Jerry Davis officiating. Burial will be in First Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 12 noon until the hour of service Monday at the church. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Chris was born February 5, 1956 in Newport, Rhode Island, son of John M. and Rosemary Sullivan Bric. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1973 and was stationed at Camp Lejeune near Jacksonville, NC. He retired as an Electrical Avionics Specialist for Dyncorp International. Chris was a member of First Canaan Baptist Church, the Palmyra Masonic Lodge and was a York Rite Mason. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Bric. Survivors include his wife of 36 years Janis Annette Davis Bric of Palmyra, sons Christopher Jesse Bric of Merrimack, NH, Brian Michael Bric and John Lee Bric, both of Palmyra, brothers John M. Bric of Deer Harbor, WA, Peter W. Bric of Lorain, OH, Stephen M. Bric of Elgin, IL, sisters Rosemary Manak of Glenn Ellen, IL and Sandra Robertson of Boca Raton, FL, and seven grandchildren.
