Christine Lorene Sale, 92, Clarksville, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 25, 1915 in Athens, Ala., daughter of Alex Dye and Margaret Baltimore Dye. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnson Sale; sons, Preston Sale and Luther Ray Sale; brothers, Frank Dye, Clyde Dye and Leonard Dye; sisters, Nellie Petty and Pauline Demonbreum. Mrs. Sales was a wonderful mother, a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Lewis (Terrie) Sale, White Bluff, William Sale, Clarksville, Eugene (Debbie) Sale, Elkton, KY; daughters, Eloise Gann, Guthrie, KY, Ann Young, Clarksville, Jane (Steve) Owens, Clarksville, Lana G. (Dick) Early, Jay, Fla., Carolyn (Mark) Hoogerwerf, Holiday, Fla.; sister, Febia Mabry, Nashville; thirty grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
