Christine Clements

Christine Clements, 97, Clarksville, died Saturday, November 10, 2007, at Spring Meadows Nursing Home. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Artest Waynick officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born July 4, 1910, in Houston Co., TN, daughter of Herman Adams and Blanche Boyd Adams. Mrs. Clements was a homemaker and a member of Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Cumberland City. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Hester Clements. She is survived by sons James (Peggy) Clements of Paducah, KY, Leo (Betty) Clements of Granite City, IL, David (Margot) Clements of Granite City, IL, and Jackie (Delores) Clements of Erin, TN; daughter Shirley Smith of Clarksville; brothers Charles (Evalee) Adams of Buford, GA, and Lee (Barbara) Adams of Bloomington, IN; sisters Georgia Parker of Howell, MI, Evie Wooten of Clarksville, Gladys (Ronald) Crump of Granite City, IL, Bette (Glyn) Morrow of Clarksville, Jennie Ruth (Leonard) McElroy of Clarksville, Maxine (Tom) Duncan of Cleveland, TN; ten granchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
