Christine Rebecca Cheasty, age 68, of Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at her home while surrounded by family.
Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church, Oak Grove, KY with Father Julian Ibemoere presiding, and Father David Kennedy concelebrating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Christine entered this life on June 16, 1954, in Mobile, Alabama. She was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Christine was a nurse at Dr. Harold Moessner’s allergy office. She loved horses and making jewelry and rosaries.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Shephard, and his wife, Winnie; mother, Shirley Brown Kelly, and her husband, John; and sister, Kellie Marie Kelly.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Jack Cheasty; son, Joshua Cheasty, and daughter-in-law, Alicia; daughter, Rachel Cheasty Sanders, and son-in-law, Patrick; daughter, Courtney Gillis; grandchildren, Gavin Sanders, Connor Sanders, Aidan Gillis, and Shane Gillis; and siblings, John Kelly, Jr., Linda Stogdale, and Bette Burton.
