Christine Allen

Christine Johnson Allen, age 88, of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Beverly Dycus officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021, from 4-7 p.m., and again on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Christine entered into this life on June 8, 1932, in Palmyra, TN, to the late Howard and Polly Blackwell Johnson. She retired from ACME boot company. Christine enjoyed listening to gospel music, camping, and tending to her flowers. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, David Allen; brothers, Cecil Johnson and Robert Johnson; sisters, Clara Baggett, Gladys Hall, Ruth Flowers.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Martha) Allen; daughters, Shirley (Lathe) Gaither, Glenda (Bob) Allen; brother, Howard Johnson, Jr.; grandchildren, Christie, Ray, Kaleb, Yvonne, Bobbie, Betty, and Sandy; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Joseph, Joshua, Lilly, Alyssa, Brooke, Lauren, Kristen, Josh, Noah, Collin, Anna, and Sadie; and several great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ray Quintero, Ricky Johnson, Benji Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Matt Anderson, Joey Griffith, and Joshua Griffith.
