Cheryl Wiseman Blakeway

Cheryl Kay Wiseman Blakeway, age 61, of Oak Grove, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Erin, TN.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 12 noon until the hour of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Cheryl entered this life on August 5, 1960, in Pahokee, Fl to the late Carolyn Ann Crosby and Nicholas Dean Gingery. She was a Christian. Cheryl was a light-hearted, fun-loving person who adored fishing with her grandchildren, singing karaoke, dancing, playing volleyball and basketball. In her early adult years, she was trained in journalism and had previously owned and operated a thrift store.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon, and granddaughters, Amelia Michelle and Isabella.
Survivors include the love of her life, Charles Blakeway; sons, James Earl Wiseman, Nicholas Patrick Wiseman; daughters, Kelly Manning (Teddy), and Mickie Atkinson; brothers, Steven Gingery, Jason McCann; in-laws, Herbert and Donna Blakeway; sister-in-law, Melissa Blakeway; grandchildren, Amy, Preston, Misha, Lucy, Brandon, Elijah, Jaxson, and one on the way. Cheryl also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
