Charlie Mai Walls, 92, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11am Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Mallory’s United Methodist Church with Rev. Peg Augustine and Rev. Kathy Gaines officiating. Burial will follow in Mallory’s
UMC cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and 10am until the time of service Tuesday at Mallory’s UMC.
Charlie Mai was born May 5, 1920 in Montgomery County, daughter of Julian Walton Jarrell Sr. and Mary Ann (Jacob) Jarrell. She retired from Ft. Campbell Dependent Schools after 34 years Civil Service.
Mrs. Walls was preceded in death by her husband Howard Walls; her son Daton Richard Walls; her brothers Horace Jarrell, William Jarrell, and Julian Jarrell; and her sisters Marguerite Morrison and Marion Mickle. Survivors include her daughter Lisa Lancaster; her grandson James R. Coburn; her great grandchildren Zoie Rae, Dycie Mai, and Breena Shae.
Pallbearers will be James Coburn, Michael Morrison, Marvel Mickle, Tom White, Bill Tucker, and Barry Vandohlen.
