Charlie M. Conatser, Jr., age 67 of Cunningham, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Koontz and Rev. Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will follow at Black Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Charlie was born on June 13, 1948 in Cunningham, TN, the son of the late Charlie Morgan Conatser, Sr. and Esther Parker Conatser. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Olson and Ann Dudley. He was a machinist at Acme/ American West Boot Company for 29 years. He was a graduate from Montgomery Central High School and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. His hobbies included rabbit hunting, gardening, and wood working.
Survivors include his wife Wilma Anderson Conatser; daughter, Angelyn Clevenger; son, James Conatser; sisters, Betty (Mike) Lake, Faye Horn, and Laverne Threatt; grandchildren, Brady Clevenger and Austin Ingham.
Pallbearers will be Jay Ingham, Michael Lake, Bruce Green, Mike Conatser, Gerald Harrison, Charles Klein, Wilton Anderson, and Michael Lynch. Honorary pallbearers will be David Parker, Ozzie Olson, and Norman Klein.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tennessee Quality Hospice at 900 Professional Park Drive #200, Clarksville, TN 37040.
