Charles Wayne Lewis, age 73, of Bumpus Mills, passed away, July 22, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare. Graveside Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Dotsonville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the church.
Wayne was born July 23, 1943 in Humphreys County, TN to the late Oscar and Mary Laverne Tibbs Lewis. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Dotsonville Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was the owner of Wayne Lewis Construction Company.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Kenna (Stan) Calhoun, Krystal Richardson; son, Kevin (Kammy) Lewis; mother of his children, Kay Lewis; grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Tristan Calhoun, Brittney Moore, Cameron Wright, Andrew Robertson, Hannah Richardson, Chloe Calhoun, Caleb Calhoun, Matthew Robertson and Kip Lewis; great-grandchild, Lexi Moore; brother, Jerry (Janet) Lewis; sisters, Billie (J.W.)
