Charles Showalter, 74 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Riley and Rev. Pat VanDyke officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Military Honors rendered.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday at the church.
Charles was born April 23, 1941 in Cairo, IL, the son of the late Harry T. Showalter and Clara Stigall Showalter.
Charles was a member of First Baptist Church where he sang bass in the church choir. He attended Ron Pendegrass' Sunday School class. Chuck served in the U.S. Army and then worked as a finance manager.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Weinhardt Showalter; daughters, Carol (Robert) Yoreck and Jeanette Rausch; grandchildren, Bradford (Sonya) Davis, Kyle Davis, and Miranda Rausch; son-in-law, Chris Rausch.
Pallbearers will be Brad Davis, Kyle Davis, James Davis, Bob Yoreck, Chris Rausch, and Reber Kennedy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Find Us Faithful of First Baptist Church.
