Charles Rushing

Charles Edward Rushing, age 80, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip McGahey officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Charles entered this life on October 3, 1942, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Alonzo and Hazel Hester Rushing. He was a retired brick salesman for Thomas Lumber Company and a member of Cheap Hill Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Jerry Rushing and Dorothy Louise Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Waynick Rushing; daughter, Debbie (Mark) Spurgeon; granddaughter, Rachel Suzanne (Steven) Butler; great-grandchildren, Aspen, London, and Maverick; siblings, Ralph (Patsy) Rushing, David Rushing, and Betty (Kirby) Hollingsworth; brother-in-law, Jackie Waynick; sisters-in-law, Joan McGovern and Janet Petrovich.

Pallbearers will be David Rushing, Kevin Rushing, Grant Alberstadt, Steven Butler, Mark Spurgeon, and Jackie Waynick.
