Charles Robert Hunley, 90, Woodlawn, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
A celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2012 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Harwell officiating. A graveside service will be 3 p.m., Friday in Clay City Cemetery, Clay City, IL.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the church.
Mr. Hunley was born May 26, 1921 in Clay County, IL and was preceded in death by his parents, James Grant and Edna Mae Patridge Hunley.
He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a U.S. Army WWII Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie Irene Wilson Hunley; sons, James R. (Vicki) Hunley, Charles R. (Ginger) Hunley; daughter, Anita (Paul) Fatheree, all of Woodlawn; grandchildren, Elizabeth Peters, Matthew Hunley, Lucas Hunley, Chad Hunley, Amanda Dusenberry, Jennifer Nelson and Ashley Fatheree; and eight great-grandchildren.
