Charles Ellis

Charles Stephen `Steve` Ellis, 68, Clarksville, went home to be with His Lord, Thursday, December 13, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Bob Mitchell and Rev. Richard Stafford officiating. Burial will be in First Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 30, 1939 in Davidson County, TN son of Paul D. Ellis and Lila Baggett Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a retired auto mechanic and a member of First Canaan Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Jo Baggett Ellis, Clarksville; son, Kent (Patti) Ellis, Cunningham; daughter, Cindy (Richard) Borowiecki, Clarksville; sisters, Marie Unkel, Adams, Mary Alice Eckenrod, Clarksville; grandchildren, Brooksie Arrington, Mitchell Ellis, Lexie Ellis and Abbigail Ellis. Pallbearers will be Craig Williams, Allen Ellis, Mitchell Ellis, Cody Baggett, Will Arrington, Gus Crockett. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Baggett.
