Charles Edward Dooley, age 76 of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his home.
A graveside service with Full Military Honors will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Charles was born on February 8, 1940 in Bedford Co., VA the son of the late Fred Dooley and Viola Burnett. He retired from the U.S. Army as Staff Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Asher Dooley; sons, George (Petra) Dooley, Johnny (Rachael) Dooley, Timothy (Kimberly) Dooley, and Tony (Lori Darnell) Dooley; daughter, Kimberly (Thomas) Turner; brothers, William and Raleigh Dooley; sister, Rachel Dooley; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
