Charles Daniel Bearden, 79 Cunningham, TN, died Saturday September 3, 2011 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3 p.m.Tuesday September 6 , 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday September 5, 2011 and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday September 6, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Mr. Bearden was born January 29, 1932, in Montgomery County, TN, son of the late James Oscar and Clara Baggett Bearden. Mr. Bearden was a Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Valley Laverne Neblett Bearden; brothers, James Aubrey Bearden, Norris Curtis Bearden and William Thomas Bearden; sister, Mary Elizabeth “Pete” McWhorter and step-mother, Laura Frances Castleberry Bearden. He was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Charles Dwight (Nancy) Bearden of Cumberland Furnace and Ronnie Dale (Susan) Bearden of Cunningham; brothers, Bobby (Juanita) Bearden, Bennie (Barbara) Bearden and Donald Ray (Elaine) Bearden; sisters, Betty Jo Atkins, Wilma Faye (Larry) Breeden and Frances Ann (Eddie) Hodges; grandchildren, Kristi Bearden Miller, Misti Bearden South, Stacie Bearden and Jessica Bearden; great-grandchildren, James Miller, Ella Miller, Abby South, Anna South and Alivia South.
Pallbearers will be Chase Bearden, Chris Bearden, Ronnie Brown, Larry Hankins, Leroy Collier and Bobby Baggett.
