Charles Phillip Coakley, 67, Clarksville, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, October 9, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Lee Billings officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Cemetery, Adams, TN.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Coakley was born May 10, 1944 in Nashville and was preceded in death by his parents, John Howard and Jennie Lee Pentecost Coakley; sister, Olympia Cargile; and brother, James Howard Coakley.
He was a retired meat cutter at Martins IGA.
Survivors include his sons, Scott (Robin) Coakley, Ricky Coakley, Clarksville; daughter, Teresa Voorhees, Clarksville; companion, Phyllis Jenkins; siblings, William E. Coakley, Nashville, Martha Ann Ford, Hendersonville, Nancy Norman, Nashville, Mary R. Sterry, Greenbrier, Agnes Rye, Southside, John Michael Coakley, Hermitage; grandchildren, Taylor Jurisin, Steven Mattingly, Jessie Mattingly, Scotty Coakley, Christian Coakley, Shelby Coakley and Jace Coakley.
Pallbearers will be Steven Mattingly, Jessie Mattingly, Taylor Jurisin, Justin Richards, Jeff Miles and Keith Jenkins.
