Charles Claxton Sr.

Charles Claxton Sr. passed away August 16, 2012 at Patient’s Choice Medical Center. He was born June 19, 1926 in Houston County, Tn. son of the late John Thomas Claxton and Mable Flick Claxton. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Pulley Claxton. A celebration of his life will be 2pm Saturday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Steppee officiating .Visitation will be from 11:30am until 8pm Friday and from 8am until service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Survivors include four sons Charles Claxton Jr., Tom Claxton, Ray Claxton, Gary Claxton all of Erin, Tn. two brothers Velton Claxton of McEwen, Tn., Walter Claxton of Jackson, Al., one sister Jewell Westerman of McKinnon, Tn.
