Charles "Chuck" Richard Butkus, 66, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at his residence.

He was born April 10, 1949 in Cook County, IL and was preceded in death by his parents, Charles K. and Lorraine E. Cowan Butkus.
Mr. Butkus was a retired U.S. Army Staff SGT who served in Vietnam as a flight medic. He was a life member of VFW #4895 and a life member to the Military Order of the Cooties. He loved the Chicago Bears, and had a passion for fishing and was famous for cooking his smoked ribs.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Diana Mary Donna Butkus; Children, Merry M. Hinson, Charles R. Butkus, Kathleen A. Butkus; sisters, Sharon Whiteside, Bonnie Plucinski, Rita Brace; grandchildren, Adrian, Morrighan and Maeve.
