Charles Edward Brooks, age 69 of Cumberland City, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Rye officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Brooks family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
Charles entered this life on December 4, 1953 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Grigsby D. Brooks and Maggie Alsobrooks Brooks.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his siblings, Truman Brooks, Gerald Brooks, Velton Brooks, and Margaret Brooks.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Janice Steppee Brooks; daughter, Amy Brooks; grandsons, Stratton (Katie) Bryant, Kohler Bryant; siblings, Terry Brooks, Bonnie Warfield, and Wanda Parker.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stratton Bryant, Kohler Bryant, Shannon Parker, Terry Bryant, Tommy Conger, and Eddie Rye. Rick Boyd will serve as honorary pallbearer.
