Charles Gilbert Bennett, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, Clarksville, TN.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont, MO. Burial will be at Mt. View Cemetery, Des Arc, MO with Military Honors. Visitation at Ruegg Funeral Home will be 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Charles was born on October 11, 1938 in Columbia, IL, the son of George T. Bennett and Maxine Adams Bennett. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Michals; nieces, Toni Taylor, Sophie Michals, and Sara Michals; nephew, Charles Michals; several cousins; special friend, Ivonney Howland and a host of other family and friends.
