Charlene Mary McCullah, 77, Clarksville, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at New Providence United Methodist Church with Rev. B.J. Brack officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Charlene was born October 5, 1933 in Adams, TN, daughter of Charles and Agnes Ashabraner Leighton. She was raised in Adairville, KY and was Salutatorian of her high school class. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband CSM (Ret.) Scully McCullah. She was an active member of New Providence United Methodist Church, attended APSU majoring in Latin and Classical Piano, involved in Junior Civitan, was a voting poll volunteer, helped her friends at Magnolia Florist, and enjoyed playing her piano. Survivors include son Parris C. (Deborah) McCullah of Ft. Monroe, VA; daughters Cheron L. (Stephen) Price of Niles, MI, Ann (Mike) Latham of Peachtree City, GA, and Judy (Kevin) Young of Peachtree City, GA; brother Billy Leighton of Adairville, KY; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kevin Young, Stephen Price, David Latham, Benjamin Latham, Skyler Young, Andy Leighton, and Bill Long.
