Cecil Ray Tucker, age 81 of Indian Mound, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, with Bro. John Maltais officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Tucker was born September 14, 1929 in Stewart County and was the son of the late Earnest Ray and Susie Knight Tucker. He was a member of Sycamore Flat Church of Christ, a U.S. Army Veteran and was employed as a mechanic for 37 years at Jenkins and Wynn Ford, and later retired from Ted Russell Ford in Knoxville.
Survivors include his wife, Bedie Frances Bumpus Tucker, Indian Mound; son, Steven Ray (Reva) Tucker, Indian Mound; brother, Hoyt Tucker, Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Whitney Nicole Tucker, Seth Ray Tucker, Indian Mound; special friend, Dorothy Tucker, Hohenwald, TN.
Pallbearers will be Alan Valencourt, John Elliott, Glen Heflin, Ronnie Wallace, John Cornejo, Jeff Akins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Chester, Jeff Bateman and Randy Carte.
