Cecil D McLendon, Sr.

Cecil D. McLendon, Sr. age 84, of Palmyra, TN passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at First Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Cecil entered this life on January 2, 1941 in Mendenhall, Mississippi to the late Lonis and Ella McLendon. He was a member of First Canaan Baptist Church and retired from Trane Company.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Elliott McLendon.

Survivors include his children, Cecil McLendon, Jr. (Tamy), and David McLendon (Kathy); grandchildren, Jessie Lee McLendon; great-grandchildren, Robert Benjamin McLendon, and Rayna Paulette McLendon, and one great-great-grandchild, Chloe Reign Miller.
