Carrol Ray Wickham, 62, of Palmyra, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. William Luffman officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. A masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday.
Carrol was born July 22, 1949 in Montgomery County, son of the late Aaron Newman Wickham and Elma Powell Wickham. He was a Methodist and was a member of the Palmyra Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, and the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife Elaine Bell Wickham of Palmyra, son Gary Minton of Palmyra, daughters Cathy Dickens and Laura Humble, both of Palmyra, Cindy Sexton of Springfield, sister Teresa Adams of Bossier City, LA, three granddaughters, one grandson, and one great grandson.
Pallbearers will be Joe Lallo, Jimmy Walker, Jim Green, Mike Donhue, Ron Houseworth, and Mark Malick. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Palmyra Masonic Lodge.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Memorial Program, 2900 Rocky Point Dr, Tampa, FL 33607.
