Mrs.Carolyn Rice Taylor, 68, Erin, died Thursday, March 6,2008, at Vanderbilt. The funeral will be held at 2pm Saturday at Erin United Methodist Church with Rev.Harriet Bryan Harris and Rev.Ken Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:30pm till 8pm Friday at Nave Funeral Home and from 12 noon till service Saturday at Erin United Methodist Church. She was born July 23,1939 in Clarksville,Tn.daughter of the late William and Maude Wall Rice. She was a member of Erin United Methodist Church,Home Dem.,Bridge Club, Chamber of Commerce,Meals on Wheels. Survivors include her husband Gary Taylor of Erin,Tn.three daughters Cathy ( Chip )Batts and Beth ( Donnie ) Crawford both of Clarksville,Tn. Des ( Nathan ) Huser of Louisville,Ky.three sons Phil (Alexis ) Taylor of Cumberland City,Tn. Cape ( Barbie ) Taylor of Sailors Rest,Tn. Drew ( Shelly ) Taylor of Erin,Tn.eaighteen grandchildren Mitch Webb, Morgan Meredith, Slate Huser, Allie Huser, Seth Crawford, Jacob Crawford, Sara Crawford, Dee (Billy) Hughes, Todd Roby, Casey (Crissy) Roby Hunter Taylor, Holley Taylor, Caulder Taylor, Callie Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Caperton Taylor, Mason Taylor, Jacob Taylor and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Britt,Mitchell Webb, Jarrod Clark, Caperton Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Steven Bryant, Daniel Binkley, Billy Hughes.
