Carolyn May Lape, age 71 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehab.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Willie Cage officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Carolyn was born on June 30, 1943 in Spencer, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Johnnie Maxwell Lowe and Betsy Jewell Jones Lowe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Elden Lape.
She was a foster parent, CNA, and a homemaker.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Charles (Melanie) Lape, John (Victoria) Lape, Mark Lape, Lacey Mack, and Johnna Young; sisters, Janet Carpenter and Sharon Callow; grandchildren, Derik Lape, Talon Lape, Holly Young, Jenifer Back, Jayden Mack, Alex Blackwell, and Isaac Blackwell.
Pallbearers will be Charles Lape, John Lape, Mark Lape, Derik Lape, Chris Potter, David Benedict, and Isaac Blackwell.
Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home (931) 647-3371.
