Carolyn Howell

Carolyn Howell, age 77, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2021 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

The Howell family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.

Carolyn entered this life on December 13, 1943 in Wardell, Missouri to the late Jesse Corbitt Clayton and Gracie Chappell Clayton. Carolyn worked as a Supply Clerk for the Dept. of Defense.

Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Taylor and husband Vincent, and Carrie Howell; grandchild, Madison Taylor; siblings, Mary Frances White, James Clayton, Donnie Clayton, Ernie Clayton, Haynes Clayton, J.C. Clayton, and Gary Chappell; and aunt, Mary (Toni) Cody.
