Carol Elaine Wynn, a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and caring sister entered Heaven’s gates, and went into the arms of Jesus on January 31, 2025. The end of her earthly journey marked the commencement of her eternal adventure in the presence of the Almighty. She was 79 years old.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Carol entered this life on September 14, 1945, in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Ernest McDaniel and Ann Selvey McDaniel Hobgood. She was a Christian and enjoyed reading, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her high-school sweetheart and loving husband of 50 years, Eugene Wynn; stepfather, MJ “Curly” Hobgood; son-in-law, John Marzahl; siblings, Terry McDaniel, and Linda Kelly.
Survivors include her children, Annette Marzahl, Michael Wynn, and his wife, Joni, Anthony Wynn, and his wife, Cheryl, Jeffery Wynn, and his wife, Dawna; brother, MJ Hobgood, Jr.; grandchildren, Karl, Meira, Michael, Matthew, Dillon, MaKayla, Cody, Jonathan, Brittney, Brandy, Courtney, Jessica, and Alexis.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN.
