Carol Ann Sanford, age 64 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kim Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the hour of service Wednesday.
Carol was born November 20, 1946 in Illinois, daughter of Clem and Irene Nowak Kopecky. She was a seamstress and a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Sanford of Clarksville; sons, Donald Nevins of Clarksville, David Johnson of Pleasant View, Kevin Sanford of Virginia, Paul Sanford of Clarksville and Cory Sanford of Clarksville; daughters, Mica Pounds of Clarksville, Aileen McElderry and Yvonne Relaz, both of Chicago, Heather Johnson of Guthrie, Rubi Marie Belt of Kankakee, IL and Christina Sanford of New Jersey; brothers, Kenneth Kopecky of McHenry, IL and Patrick Kopecky of Georgia; sisters, Alice Spanos of McHenry, IL and Dorothy Novak of Braidwood, IL; grandchildren, Madison Pounds, Chase Nevins, Brennen, Kaiden, Makenzie, and twenty-one more grandchildren.
