Carl "Steve" Sutton

Carl Steven Sutton, age 66 of Stewart, TN, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley and Bro. Stephen Cathey officiating. Military honors will be rendered at the beginning of the service.
The Sutton family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon.
Steve entered this life on May 13, 1955 in Clarksville, TN, son to Carl Edward and Betty Lou Sutton. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Navy and loved to hunt and fish. He will greatly be missed by his friends and family.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Sutton; and sons, Terry Sutton and Jerry Sutton.
Survivors include his loving children, Alonda (Lance) Mills, Stephanie Lynn (Shawn) Smith; father, Carl Edward Sutton; siblings, Vicky Sutton, Cindy (Tony) Forsgren, Teresa Sutton, and April (Julie) Sutton. Steve also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Damian Chappell, Mayson Mills, Macrae Mills, Mallie Mills, Morgan Mills, Trent (Jessica) Smith; great-granddaughter, Kensley Smith, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
