Carl Schmittou

Carlton Schmittou, age 79 of Clarksville, Tn passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021.
Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Fambrough officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Carl entered this life on March 26, 1941 in Dickson County, TN to the late Horace Lurton and Daphney Smith Schmittou. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. In his spare time, Carl enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was the owner of Carl’s Cabinet Shop.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Gene Schmittou and Brandon Schmittou.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sherry Moseley Schmittou; children, Jason (Lindy) Schmittou, and Tracey Edwards; grandchildren, Lindsey Schmittou, Zachary Swan, Amberleigh Swan, Harley Edwards, Anniston Edwards, Aiden Edwards, Carlin Schmittou, and Conner Schmittou; sisters, Armarella Hasley, Phyllis Harrell, Paulette Yarbrough, and Pauline Moseley.
