Carl Pulley, 83, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Montgomery Care & Rehab.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Carl was born July 8, 1928 in Cumberland City, TN, son of the late Sam and Fronie Goodwin Pulley. He was the owner of Tire City Sales and Service for 38 years. In addition, Carl was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Edna Stanley Pulley, daughter Evelyn Oakley, grandchildren, Emily Wallace (Roland), David Oakley (Cassie), and Daniel Oakley, sisters Lorene Baggett of Clarksville, and Olean Tochtrop of Orland Park, IL, great grandchildren Hannah Oakley, Christina Wallace, Luke Wallace, David Oakley, Jr., and Gabriel Oakley.
Pallbearers will be Roland Wallace, David Oakley, Daniel Oakley, Tommy Trainer, Jason Lusby, and Ricky Westrich.
