Herman Carl Hines, age 75, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Boca Raton, FL.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Steve Kirby and Bro. Ken Gossett officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Carl was born September 17, 1937 in Waverly, TN and was the son of the late Elgin and Lorrane Macklin Himes. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, retired from Trane Company as a Manufacturing Engineer, and a retired minister after serving 20 years at Big Rock, Dotsonville, and Olmstead Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Marie Hatfield Hines, Clarksville; sons, John Michael (Kristine) Hines, Boca Raton, FL, Nelson Brian (Midori) Hines, Coconut Creek, FL; daughters, Carol Yvonne Hines, Clarksville, Vanessa Kay (Jason) Proctor, Hermitage, TN; brothers, Jack Clark, MI, Melvin Himes, Clyde Himes, Larry Himes, all of TN; sisters, Mary Walkup, Claudine Williams, both of TN, Peggy Nichols, SC, Lucille Melton, TN; grandchildren, Christopher Kushner, Amanda Price, Michael Price, Katie O'Connor, Kayla Proctor and Kyle Proctor; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
