Carl Deatherage

Carl B. Deatherage, age 75 of Adams, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. A private graveside service will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with military honors. Mr. Deatherage was born February 19, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, KY and was the son of the late Elza Edward and Geneva Mchargue Deatherage. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in the Korean Conflict, a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a member of Trenton Assembly of God, and retired from TVA. Survivors include his wife, Caroline Black Deatherage, Adams; sons, Michael Dean, Clarksville and Jason Dean, Lavergne; nephew, Tim Mean, North Carolina; and granddaughter, Kayte Dean.
