Carl Rufus "Soda" Bryant, 88, Indian Mound, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Grace Healthcare in Clarksville.
A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. Ted Denny officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Soda was born December 9, 1927 and was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Doshie Ferrell Bryant; brother, Romy Bryant; sisters, Lucy Armbruster and Thelma Perry.
He was a retired saw filer.
Survivors include his sons, Carl Steven Bryant, Carl Rufus Bryant Jr., Corey Michael Bryant, Alex Franklin Bryant; brother, James Bryant; sisters, Ruth Suiter, Scrippie McIntosh; grandchildren, Cortney McClellen, Corey Michael Bryant Jr., Joshua Bryant, Sarah Thomas, Turner Elizabeth Bryant and Jenny King.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
