Carl E. Barker, age 79 of Erin, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Houston County Community Hospital.
A celebration of his life will be held 12 noon Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Nave Funeral Home, Erin, TN. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday November 9, 2013 at the funeral home.
Carl was born December 20, 1933 in Detroit, MI, son of the late, Lester Thomas Barker and Mary Magolean Baggett Barker. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Tissler Barker and a sister, Bernice Thomason.
Left to cherish his memory is his sisters, Ruth (Ron) Faudel, Alice Faye (Ron) Meszaros and Sharon (Dan) Pace and a brother, Denny Ray (Hope) Barker; his children and friends.
Family members will serve as Pallbearers.
