Carl Baggett

Carl Chester Baggett, 81, Palmyra, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at Skyline Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 11, 1927 in Montgomery Co., TN, son of Jessie Baggett and Frances Crockett Baggett, and was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Clara Johnson Baggett. He was a member of Baggett's Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include his wife Frances Harris Baggett of Palmyra; sons Jessie Baggett of North Carolina, Jerry Baggett, Wendell Baggett, and Tommy Baggett, all of Morris, IL; daughters Marie Lumpp and Gail Valiente, both of Morris, IL; and sisters Lola Smith and Myrtle Harris.
