Cara Fox

Cara Lee Fox, age 86, of Erin, TN, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Signature Healthcare of Erin. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Garett Milliken officiating.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 am until the hour of service.
Cara entered this life on Sunday, March 10, 1935 in Hagerstown, Indiana daughter to the late Burton “Chuck” Brooks and Irene Briar Brooks.
Cara was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the Jubilee Day Festival in her hometown of Hagerstown, Indiana, where she would catch up with her beloved class of 1953 friends.
In addition to her parents, Cara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Gene Fox, and her son, Brian Fox.
Cara leaves behind her loving daughters, Carlene Fox, Loranne Holmes (Phillip), Dawn Fox (Danny), Sara Hammett (Tommy); daughter-in-law Debbie Fox; grandchildren; Justin Fox, Nicole Holmes, Kelli Lawler, Holly Holmes (Richard Rome), Stacy Holmes-Ferrell, Elias Sayar, Jessica Holmes-Tomlinson (Shane), Brandon Draper, Blake Draper, Hannah Gendron. She also leaves behind 15 great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly; Cara Holmes, Cori Holmes, Ethan Fox-Tomlinson, Eliza Fox, Noah Fox, Ava Sayar, Mac Miles, Anna Tomlinson, Xander Sayar, Ainslee Sayar, Samuel Ferrell, Kamryn Jackson, Keagen Jackson, Kallan Jackson and Azalee Draper.
Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Justin Fox, Elias Sayar, Brandon Draper, and Blake Draper.
